Hal Eagar works in NYC Downtown theatre as a computer programer. Hovering somewhere between Artist - Technologist - Designer he enjoys making "things" even if those things are as intangible as digital media-scapes and edgy theatre no one will ever get to see. I have made some tangible things in, two cute children, and since they take up a lot more of my time and my mind, and there are people who want to read about them they have taken over the blog just like they take over everything else :)

Xmas in Maui
Well our travels to Maui were long and exasting, but not as bad as it could have been, it looks like our friends spent over 48hrs getting to Maui with the Weather and power outages. And they left the same day as we did. We only got delayed 3.5 hrs for a total of 15.5 hrs of air travel (plus about 1.5 for car).
Wow what a monster trip.
But Bertram Loved the Ocean, he was afraid of it almost every time we went to the beach, but had a ball once he got over that fear each day. And on the last two days he was totally over it. And luckily for him we were staying at a house on the beach for those days. (maybe that helped get over the fear too)
The ocean in Kehei and Makena was a calm as I have ever seen the Pacific, almost too calm as Bertram Loved being hit by the waves the first day out when it there was a bit more action. But even that was super calm. I'm sure it was big surf on the other side of the island, but the south shore was perfect for little boys.
